Daryl Rowland is a storyteller with accomplishments spanning brand marketing, communications, journalism and screenwriting.

Daryl began is his career in New York City on the agency side, writing for top brands like McDonald's, Black & Decker and the Scotch Whisky Council. Moving to Hollywood, he was a writer-producer and showrunner for network TV shows such as Mad About You, Ellen Degeneres, and FX's Bad News Mr Swanson.

 

His journalism work has included the daily reporting for the Pulitzer Prize-winning Akron Beacon Journal as well as business, culture and commentary for the Huffington Post, in addition to advocacy communications for NPR affiliated Civic Commons project. His client-side work has included branding, social strategy, lead gen and business development.
